queu the library
One of the easiest ways I save money is through my local library - but sometimes the selection is really sparse. Instead of searching around, I use the library's book request process. I typically go on Netflix to check out the latest and greatest in DVDs and on Amazon for the latest books. Then I go on the library's website and fill up my book request queue. The great thing is, it's almost like Netflix but instead of the video showing up in my mailbox, I get an email letting me know my hold is in. On average, I receive about 1-3 videos and 1-2 new books every other week. I keep the queue filled since the wait time for some of the newer items is long. That usually guarantees a steady stream of videos and books coming in.
